Guess who?! Its Monkey!!! Spotted at the top of the Hoarusib survey area, right where the Hoarusib and Khumib rivers meet. Monkey was part of a large group that included a male from another river.
While Namibia’s northwest may appear barren at times, the river systems play a crucial role in providing water, often hidden underground, that sustains the diverse fauna and flora in the area. Sometimes, the landscape even takes on a tropical vibe, with the occasional Makalani palm lining the riverbed, adding a touch of exotic beauty to the scene.
