Adoptee Updates:

What's new in Kate Mossicones's world?

Kate Mossicones or EHF055 was first spotted at Gruisgat waterhole on the Etosha Heights Private Reserve adjacent to Etosha National Park. Much like her namesake (and almost all other giraffe) Kate boasts incredibly long legs and natural grace. A circular scar on her left side makes her easily recognisable and it looks a little like a bite wound. The skin-covered bone structures on a giraffe's head are called ossicones and gave inspiration to Kate's name.
All our giraffe adoptees live wild and free in the vast expanses of northwest Namibia.
