Our Adopt-a-Giraffe Programme allows you to follow the lives of a few selected desert-dwelling giraffe in northwestern Namibia.
Are you interested in adopting a specific giraffe? You will be able to choose a giraffe to follow more closely at your first login to the Adoption Portal.

Adoption
You will receive 1 year of access to the online Giraffe Adoption Portal. The Adoption Portal is updated regularly and includes:
- Link to create your own personalised Adopt-a-Giraffe Certificate;
- Photo gallery and updates about our adopted giraffe;
- Groups and forums featuring photos, contests, discussions, and the ability to interact with fellow giraffe enthusiasts;
- Semi-annual updates from the field recapping the adventures of our wild adoptee giraffe over the past 6 months;
- Access to personalised t-shirts and hoodies exclusive to our adopters.
Adoption Plus
You will receive ongoing access to the Giraffe Adoption Portal. The Adoption Portal is updated regularly and includes:
- Link to create your own personalised Adopt-a-Giraffe Certificate;
- A short personal video message from GCF Directors Steph & Julian Fennessy thanking you for your valuable contribution to giraffe conservation;
- Photo gallery and updates about our adopted giraffe;
- Groups and forums featuring photos, contests, discussions, and the ability to interact with fellow giraffe enthusiasts;
- Semi-annual updates from the field recapping the adventures of our wild adoptee giraffe over the past 6 months;
- Post-expedition updates from GCF field staff featuring details about their field adventures and encounters with your adopted giraffe in the wild;
- Discount Voucher (20%) toward any official GCF Limited Edition t-shirt or hoodie; or an exclusive, personalised adoption t-shirt or hoodie; redeemable after your first log in to the Adoption Portal.
This is a recurring contribution; you will be debited an amount of your choosing automatically every month. We truly appreciate your ongoing support, which allows us to continue our important work in Africa to save giraffe in the wild. You can cancel this monthly adoption subscription at any time.
